35 Years. One Family.
One Standard.
Our Story
Started on 8 Mile. Still here.
Edwards Kitchen & Bath opened in 1989 with a straightforward mission: give Metro Detroit homeowners and contractors honest access to quality kitchen and bath products — with real people answering the phone, real accountability when something wasn't right, and real knowledge behind every recommendation.
That was 35 years ago. The address hasn't changed. The phone number hasn't changed. And the way we do business hasn't changed.
"Relationships outlast transactions."
We're not a franchise. We're not a big-box store. We're a family business — one that grew because contractors started bringing their clients to our showroom, homeowners kept coming back for their next project, and word spread through the neighborhoods we serve. That kind of growth isn't bought. It's earned, job by job, kitchen by kitchen, over 35 years.
Today we serve every type of project — from a homeowner replacing cabinets in a Royal Oak bungalow to a builder outfitting a multi-unit in Sterling Heights. Whoever walks through the door, they get the same thing: honest guidance, no pressure, and someone who knows the products inside and out.
What We Stand For
Our Values
Honest Guidance
We'll tell you when a product isn't the right fit for your project — even if it means a smaller sale that day. Short-term honesty is how you build long-term customers.
We Stand Behind It
If something isn't right, we make it right. No runaround, no finger-pointing at manufacturers. If you bought it from us, it's on us to fix it. That's been the standard since 1989.
Relationships Over Transactions
Some of the contractors we work with today placed their first order with us in the 1990s. That's not loyalty from a rewards program. It's loyalty earned by showing up every time, on every project.
The Showroom on 8 Mile
Where decisions get made.
Most people walk in not knowing exactly what they want. They walk out with a plan.
Our showroom is built for that moment — cabinet vignettes across all three lines, countertop samples you can actually hold, and staff who have been answering product questions for years. No appointment required. Walk-ins are always welcome.
Contractors bring clients here for a reason: it's a showroom that makes them look professional without costing them anything extra. That's the point.

Proudly Local
We know this market.
35 years of kitchens and baths across Detroit, Royal Oak, Troy, Warren, Sterling Heights, Ferndale, and every community in between. We've seen the neighborhoods change. We've been on job sites in every zip code. We know what contractors need, what homeowners want, and what holds up in Metro Detroit homes. That experience doesn't come from a catalog. It comes from being here, doing the work, every day for 35 years.
